MISSIONS
The Mission Ministry at Christ Community Church exists to engage with the Body of Christ, assisting them to reach the unreached. We do this through financial support, encouragement, and even feet on the ground when possible. Additionally, we connect our members to our missionaries by building relationships and opportunities to participate.
At Christ Community Church we pursue a three-pronged strategy in Missions:
Relationship with and support of Missionary Partners
Mission Trips
the Mission Council
MISSIONARY PARTNERS
CCC supports approximately 30 missionaries, across the world and across the region. We go beyond simple financial support with missionaries, building relationships for long-term partnerships to ensure ministry success and personal well-being. You are encouraged to personally connect with a missionary to catch their vision and build relationship.
For a list of our partner missionaries, please contact the Missions Department, or see us at the Missions Desk in the lobby.
MISSION TRIPS
One of the most exciting ways to engage with a mission ministry is hands-on, right in their field of influence. CCC has a history of assisting our missionaries with everything from construction to VBS. When you join a missions trip, you know the missionary, you experience the anointing of the Holy Spirit, you feel the Father’s heart for the lost. You will come home forever changed.
Mission trips are announced on our Events page and down below, as well as posted at the Missions Desk in the lobby. Applications are required.
MISSION COUNCIL
The Missions Council assists the Missions Pastor to perform the tasks of the Missions Ministry. It is made up of men and women with a passion for God’s kingdom worldwide.
Responsibilities of the Missions Council can include:
Targeted prayer for Missionary Partners.
Communicating special missions’ projects to the CCC family.
Encouraging Missions Trip participation
Participation in special projects
Review and evaluate missionary requests for project or ongoing support, and advise the finance team on their findings.
